Things Won’t Get Cheaper — You Have to Get Richer

If we are being honest to ourselves, we would see that prices aren’t getting cheaper or going down anytime soon. From food items to house rent to children upkeep to fuel, the cost of living and so on, It's so surreal that these things are on a steady incline. And it’s easy to feel surprised by this new development, but here’s a heavy truth we need to embrace:

“Things won’t get cheaper. You have to find a way to get richer.”

You can complain about the cost of living — or you can level up. "Choose your medicine".
This isn’t about being selfish, it’s about surviving, having financial stability, and freedom.
The world we live in today is changing so fast, and the best thing to do for ourselves and family is to stop complaining and get used to it. And this means you:

* Increasing your earning potential — earning more from what you do.
* Diversifying your income — building extra streams of income.
* And leveling up your skills  — learning skills that keep you in demand.

Here are 3 practical ways to start:

Invest in Yourself

The most powerful investment you can make is in yourself. Skills don’t just make you more employable — they make you more valuable in every space you find yourself.

Learn high-value skills. There are lots of high earning skills on demand and thank GOD for the digital world we are in, you can get those skills from the comfort of anywhere. Whether it’s content creation, coding, digital marketing, or writing and there are a whole lot trust me. Your knowledge can be monetized in today’s economy. The more problems you get to solve, the more money you can make for yourself. The World pays for solutions, not effort.

Build Something on the Side

Start a blog. Launch a small business. Create content. Start something small, that stuff you like doing at you lonesome times could fetch you big money someday, you could turn them to online courses, eBook, or workshop. Side hustles aren't just trends — they’re safety nets and stepping stones. You can create a YouTube or social media account where you can post your stuffs and grow them to earn income each month. It doesn't just happen out of the blues, it takes time, consistency, determination, effort, and authenticity. And one day you would be happy you made the decision.

Think Bigger About Money
Budgeting can not be over emphasized, but earning more is definitely a game changer. Shift your mindset from scarcity to abundance. Ask yourself: How can I create more value?

You don't need a millionaire mindset to start, you just need a builder's mindset. It isn’t just about “How can you save more” It’s, “How can you earn and grow more — sustainably”

Don't forget the economy would not wait for us — but we can sure outrun it by being smarter, faster, and most important more resourceful.

Stop Chasing People Who Don't Choose You

There is a quiet kind of pain that comes from trying to stay in places where you are not truly wanted.  It is the pain of over-explaining yourself just to be understood. The pain of trying harder than everyone else just to be noticed. The pain of loving someone who never really chose you in the first place. Many of us have been there. We convince ourselves that if we try a little harder, love a little deeper, or show a little more patience, things will eventually change. We believe that someday the person will finally realize our worth. But the truth is far more difficult to accept. You cannot convince someone to value what they have already decided to overlook. When someone sees you as an option rather than a priority, no amount of effort from you can change that. And the longer you stay in that situation, the more it begins to affect your self-worth. Slowly, you start shrinking yourself just to fit into spaces that were never meant for you. You begin to tolerate the bare minimum...

Busy Isn’t the Problem — Priority Is

W e’ve all heard it before: “I’ve just been really busy.” And sometimes, that’s true. Life happens. Work piles up. Energy runs low. But the truth many people avoid is this — busy is rarely the real problem. The real problem is priority. People don’t forget to reply to those they truly respect. They may delay, but they don’t disappear. They don’t leave conversations hanging indefinitely. They don’t make you feel like asking for their time is asking for too much. At some point, silence stops being accidental and starts becoming intentional. We all choose where our energy goes. Every single day. We choose what to respond to, what to show up for, what to make time for, and what to postpone. When someone consistently has time for everything else but you, that’s not a scheduling issue — that’s a decision. One of the most dangerous things we can do to ourselves is getting used to people's inconsistency. We start normalizing slow replies, broken promises, and half-effort communication. ...
